The deal that keeps on giving. Two weeks ago, we reported that Microcenter stores were offering the Microsoft Xbox Premium Console Bundles for just $299 after $100 exclusive rebate and the Core System Bundle for $199 after $100 rebate.

Well, a few readers let us know that you can get an additional $100 cash back when you sign up for a Microcenter VISA credit card. Its a Bank of America Worldperks VISA credit card and you get 13,000 Worldperks points when you sign up for it and charge at least $399. You can then redeem those points for $100 cash back (online I believe). In-store only, your mileage may vary.

So that works out to:

• Xbox 360 Premium System Bundle (wireless controller, hard drive, etc) - $399 - $100 rebate - $100 VISA Cash Back = $199. No doubt, a nice deal if you can get it.

Rebate expires 12/3/06. Rick B., who purchased his Xbox 360 Premium Bundle last week, reports having success with bringing his receipt in-store, opening an account and transferring the charge in order to take advantage of the $100 VISA cash back promotion. Your mileage may vary on this as well.
