The honeymoon is over? MSNBC is reporting that Costco stores are going to be ending their generous (and often abused) return policy on electronics, which had amounted to a lifetime return policy as long as you had a receipt.

The new policy now imposes a 90-day return policy on televisions, computers, cameras, camcorders, portable music players and cell phones. Costco does plan to extend the warranties on televisions and PCs for a total of two years. This has been rolled out on most west coast stores and will gradually reach all locations over the next 5 weeks.
