Hey guys, sorry for the outage in service over the last few days. Our ISP provider (who will go unnamed ;) switched our dedicated server without the typical notice we’re used to, but the good news is that we’re back! Thanks for your patience and now back to your regularly scheduled programming….

  4. @gasjr4wd: If you don’t know the difference between a registrar (GoDaddy) and a hosting company (like HostRocket), then don’t inject yourself into the conversation. A whois shows the registrar, registrant, contact information, and the DNS servers for the domain — not the hosting company. If you want to find out who hosts the domain, then do a DNS lookup on the domain and then feed that IP address into an IP block lookup, which reveals what ISP own the address.

Yes, I realize that this is an ancient comment I’m replying to, and normally I would not, but in this case, he’s slandering a company that may have had nothing to do with the outage — based on his confusion about how the Internet works.
